LEONORA GONZALEZ JELINCIC
Born in Santiago de Chile 1971. She
was raised in Rome, Italy where she made her junior studies and part of the
senior. In 1987 her parents moved to Nicaragua. She finished high school in
Managua. In 1990 she decided to study Journalism in Santiago. In 1996 she got
the Journalist Degree in the Diego Portales University and travelled to
Cataluña to get a Master Degree in Communications and Education in the Barcelona
Autonomous University. She returned to Chile in 1999. Currently, she is a Parox
Producing Company Associate. She is the Executive Producer of the fiction
series for television: “The Substitute” (12 chapters - now on screen); “The
Files of the Cardinal” (12 chapters – TVN, 2011), “Back to Me” (10 chapters –
Channel 13 2010), “Gen Mishima” (8 chapters – TVN, 2008). Executive producer of
the documentary film “The Echo of Songs”, by Antonia Rossi (official selection
in the FID MARSELLA international competition and winner of the Esperanza
Award. Valdivia Film Festival, official selection. Liepzing Festival, official
selection. Montreal Festival, official Selection. Human Rights Competition

She was part of the production staff of the documentary film “Santa Fe Street”,
by Carmen Castillo, selected for the Un Certain Regard section in the Cannes
Film Festival, 2007. Director of the TV children programme “Boris & Dimitri
Argonauts” (Chilevisión, 2006); Script co-writer of the documentary programme,
“National Anthem” (Channel 13, 2005); Director of the documentary film “Los
Amautas” (2003) and Script co-writer of the documentary film “Mad at Soul”, by
Joana Reposi.
